Vintage (1982) 9ct Gold and Carnelian Cabochon Ring
This pleasing and tactile vintage ring is made of fully hallmarked 9ct yellow gold and dates from 1982. The ring is set with a cabochon cut natural carnelian with a glossy, polished, surface finish. The ring is quite a good size and the back of the setting is gently curved so that it fits nicely over the finger.
The ring is a UK size N and a half / between a US size 6.5 - 7
The ring front has a height of 1.2cms and the ring weighs 3.1g
The inside of the ring shank is stamped with a crown and '375' for 9ct gold, along with hallmarks showing that it was made in London in 1982.
This vintage ring is 42 years old and is in very good condition for its age, with no damage and showing just very light signs of age / general wear. The carnelian is in lovely condition.
