Vintage (1988) Sterling Silver Heart Padlock Clasp
This smaller size vintage heart padlock clasp is made of fully hallmarked Sterling silver and dates from 1988. The clasp is in fully working order - ready to fit to a bracelet, but could also be worn as a charm or pendant (with the addition of a suspension ring).
The clasp measures 1.5cms height (including the securing arm, when closed) and it weighs 1.1g
The reverse is stamped with the lion passant for Sterling silver, along with hallmarks showing that it was made in London in 1988. There is a maker’s mark of ‘ASJ’.
This vintage clasp is 37 years old and is in very good condition for its age, with no dents or damage and showing just light signs of age / general wear. The clasp opens easily and closes securely with a click.
