This pretty vintage ring is made of hallmarked 9ct yellow old and dates from 1989. The ring is centrally set with an oval sapphire in a beautiful shade of blue. The sapphire is flanked on either side by three bright and sparkly genuine diamonds.
The ring is a UK size i / between a US size 4 - 4.5
The sapphire itself measures 5mm x 4mm and the ring weighs 1.3g
The inside of the ring shank bears a partial ‘375’ stamp for 9ct gold (the ring also tests as 9ct solid gold). There are also hallmarks showing that the ring was made in London in 1989.
This vintage ring is 37 years old and is in good condition for its age. The sapphire and diamonds are all in very good condition with no chips or damage. By design this ring wasn’t made with a thick shank and the thickness has also reduced through general wear and a possible historic re-sizing of the ring.
