Vintage (1990) 9ct Gold and Multigem Acrostic 'DARLING' Ring
This unusual vintage acrostic ring is made of fully hallmarked 9ct yellow gold and dates from 1990. The ring is set with a small genuine diamond, an amethyst, ruby, lapis lazuli, iolite, nephrite jade and garnet. The initial letters of each gemstone spell out the word ‘DARLING’. The lapis lazuli, iolite and nephrite jade stones are cabochon cut. This ring makes a statement when worn on its own, but would also stack well with other rings.
The ring is a UK size L and a half / between a US size 5.5 - 6
The ring front has a height of 3mm and the ring weighs 1.8g
The inside of the ring shank is fully hallmarked with a crown and ‘375’ for 9ct gold. There are also hallmarks showing that the ring was made in London in 1990, along with a maker’s mark of ‘CJ LTD’.
This vintage ring is 35 years old and is in very good condition for its age, with no damage and showing just light signs of age / general wear. The lapis lazuli and nephrite jade naturally have slight colour variation within the stones.
