These sweet and wearable vintage earrings are made of fully hallmarked 9ct yellow gold and date from 1991. The butterfly backs are made of hallmarked 14ct yellow gold. Each earring front is set with three genuine dark blue sapphires, arranged in a trefoil design.
Each earring front measures 6mm x 6mm x 6mm and the earrings have a combined weight of 0.9g
Each earring post is stamped with a crown and ‘375’ for 9ct gold. There are also hallmarks showing that the earrings were made in London in 1991. Each butterfly back is stamped ‘14K’ and ‘MEXICO’.
These vintage earrings are 34 years old and are in very good condition for their age, with no damage and showing just very light signs of age / general wear. The earrings have been cleaned in an ultrasonic cleaner prior to sale.
