These pretty and wearable vintage stud earrings are made of fully hallmarked 9ct yellow gold and date from 1993. Each earring is set with a cabochon cut natural opal.
Each earring front (i.e. the opal including the gold mount) measures 9mm x 7mm.

Each earring post is stamped ‘375’ for 9ct gold, along with hallmarks showing that the earrings were made in Sheffield in 1993. Each butterfly earring back is also stamped ‘375’.
These vintage earrings are 33 years old and are in very good condition for their age, with no damage and showing just light signs of age / general wear. The opals are in very good condition with a glossy surface finish and the butterfly backs fit securely onto the earring posts.
