This sweet vintage envelope design stamp holder / locket pendant is made of fully hallmarked Sterling silver and dates from 1984. The pendant is based on an antique stamp holder design and can be used as such, or can be worn as a locket pendant with a photo inserted instead of a stamp.
The ‘envelope’ measures 3cms x 2.5cms and it weighs 7.8g
The reverse is stamped with a lion passant and also ‘925’ for Sterling silver. There are also hallmarks showing that the locket was made in London in 1994, along with a maker’s mark.
This vintage stamp holder / pendant is 32 years old and is in very good condition for its age, with no dents or damage and showing just light signs of age / general wear. The envelope ‘flap’ opens easily and pushes closed. The top suspension ring is fully closed.
