Vintage (1999) 9ct Rose Gold and Moonstone Ring
This pretty vintage ring is made of fully hallmarked 9ct rose gold and dates from 1999. The ring is set with a natural, cabochon cut, moonstone. The moonstone has blue and silvery adularescence in different lights as seen in the photos of the ring on the mannequin’s hand. The ring shoulders have pretty gold ball ornamentation.
The ring is a UK size N / US size 6.5
The moonstone measures 8mm diameter (including the gold mount) and the ring weighs 1.6g
The inside of the ring shank is stamped with a crown and ‘375’ for 9ct gold. There are also hallmarks showing that the ring was made in London in 1999. There is also a maker’s mark.
This vintage ring is 25 years old and is in good condition for its age, showing just light signs of age / general wear. The moonstone itself is in good condition with a glossy, polished, finish. On close inspection it can be seen that the moonstone has been set at a very slight angle, but this is not obvious.
