This vintage necklace comprises of a 9ct yellow gold pendant set with a cabochon cut moonstone, set on a 9ct yellow gold curb chain. The moonstone is natural and reflects the light nicely (it does not have any blue tone to it).
The chain measures 16” in length. The moonstone itself, excluding the gold surround, measures 7mm x 5mm. The pendant (i.e. the moonstone including the gold setting and bale) measures 1.5cms height.
The necklace (the pendant and chain combined) has a weight of 2.6g
The chain’s clasp is stamped ‘375’ for 9ct gold. The pedant is not separately hallmarked but has been professionally tested and is made of solid 9ct yellow gold. The chain is original: the pendant cannot be taken off the chain.
This vintage pendant necklace is in very good condition for its age, with no damage and showing just light signs of age / general wear. The clasp is in secure working order.
