These pretty and elegant vintage earrings are made of 9ct yellow gold (both the earrings and the butterfly backs). Each earring is set with a teardrop shaped opal. The opals are white with no flashes of colour and the earrings are lightweight.
Each earring has a total drop (from the top of the stud part to the base of the opal drop) of 1.5cms and the earrings have a combined weight of 0.6g (they are lightweight).
The earring backs are both stamped ‘375’ for 9ct gold. The earrings themselves are not separately hallmarked but test as 9ct yellow gold.
These vintage earrings are in very good condition for their age with no damage and showing just very lightest signs of age / general wear. The opals have a nice, glossy surface finish. The butterfly backs fit securely onto the posts.
