Vintage 9ct Gold, Blue Zircon and White Zircon Ring in Very Good Condition
This vintage ring dates from the 1950s and is made of hallmarked 9ct gold. The ring is set with a vibrant and sparkly natural blue zircon, with three white zircons set to each ring shoulder. The blue zircon ring setting and the ring shoulders are made of 9ct white gold and the ring shank is made of 9ct yellow gold.
The ring is a UK size K / US size 5
The inside of the ring shank is stamped ‘9’ for 9ct gold. The other original hallmarks are now to worn to make out, but the maker’s mark of ‘JCM&S Ltd’ can be made out. The ring has been tested and is solid 9ct gold.
The blue zircon itself (excluding the claw mount) measures 7mm diameter
This ring is around 70 years old and is in very good condition for its age, showing just light signs of age / general wear. The blue zircon itself is in very good condition and the ring shank retains a good thickness.
