This pretty and wearable vintage necklace comprises of a carved shell cameo pendant of a lady in profile. The cameo is mounted in hallmarked 9ct yellow gold and is set on a fine hallmarked 9ct yellow gold chain.
The pendant measures 2cms height (excluding the top bale) and the chain measures 16” in length.
The necklace weighs 1.7g
The pendant is stamped ‘9CT’ for 9ct gold. The chain’s clasp is stamped ‘9K’ for 9ct gold (the hallmark on the chain’s clasp is a little unclear but can be made out under magnification).
This vintage pendant necklace is in very good condition for its age, with no damage and showing just light signs of age / general wear. There is no damage to the cameo / cameo carving and the chain’s clasp is in secure working order.
