This colourful vintage necklace comprises of facetted natural amethyst beads with reconstituted turquoise beads set at intervals along its length. The clasp is made of hallmarked 9ct yellow gold.
The necklace measures 17” in length and it weighs 21.0g
The necklace clasp is stamped ‘9K’ for 9ct gold. The ring that attaches to the clasp tests as 9ct gold. The gold rondelle beads either side of the turquoise have not been tested and could be solid gold or gold plated.
This vintage necklace is in good condition for its age, showing light signs of age and general wear. On close inspection it can be seen that some of the amethyst beads show a little wear or fleabite nicks on the outside edges where they sit next to each other. The gold balls either side of the clasp are a little dented. The clasp has a good spring / lever action and is in secure working order.
