This good size antique or vintage seal / pendant is made of hallmarked 9ct rose gold and is offered for sale in lovely condition. The base is set with a polished, glossy, oval carnelian panel.
The oval base measures 2.1cms x 1.5cms (including the gold mount) and the seal / pendant weighs 5.0g
The suspension ring is stamped ‘9’ and ‘375’ for 9ct gold and the bale of the seal itself also bears some hallmarks; the hallmarks are not very clear but a crown and ‘375’ can be made out under magnification. The seal / pendant has also been tested and all parts are made of solid 9ct rose gold.
This antique / vintage seal or pendant is offered for sale in very good condition, with no damage and showing no obvious signs of wear. The carnelian is in lovely condition with a glossy, polished, surface finish and no damage or wear. It’s possible that the top suspension ring is a little earlier in date than the seal / pendant itself. The top suspension ring has not been soldered closed.
