This vintage necklace comprises of slightly graduated, hand knotted, cultured sea pearls. The necklace is set with a hallmarked 9ct yellow gold clasp, which has a central garnet surrounded by smaller cultured sea pearls.
The necklace measures 20” in length and the largest pearl measures 7mm diameter.

The reverse of the clasp and also the hook part of the clasp are both stamped ‘9CT’ for 9ct gold.
This vintage necklace is in good condition for its age, with no damage and showing just light signs of age / general wear. The pearls and garnet are all in very good condition; the pearls on the clasp have slight colour variation. The clasp opens easily and closes securely with a click. The silk stringing shows light general wear in the form of a little general discolouration.
