Vintage Cultured Sea Pearl Necklace With 9ct Gold Clasp
This classic vintage single strand pearl necklace comprises of gently graduated, hand knotted, genuine cultured sea pearls. The necklace is set with a hallmarked 9ct yellow gold clasp.
The necklace measures just over 20” length and it weighs 8.7g
The largest pearl measures 6mm diameter and the smallest measures 2.5mm diameter.
The inner part of the chain’s clasp is stamped ‘9K’ for 9ct gold
This vintage necklace is in fair condition for its age, showing some signs of age / general wear. A few of the smaller pearls (at the back of the necklace) have lost their nacre / lustre but the larger pearls at the front are in good condition. The silk stringing shows a little wear / discolouration. The clasp is in secure working order. This pearl necklace has been priced to reflect condition.
