This pretty vintage heart locket pendant and chain are gold plated. The heart locket has two inner compartments, each with original backing paper, inner securing rings and one half also has a Perpex type protective cover. The locket is set on a gold plated chain.
The chain measures 16” in length and the heart measures 2.2cms height (including the bale but excluding the suspension loop). The necklace weighs 4.8g
There are no hallmarks, the locket and chain test as gold plated.
This vintage locket and chain are in good condition for their age, with no damage and showing light signs of age / general wear. There are no dents to the locket and the interior is in very good condition. There is a little very light, superficial, wear to the gold plating on the front of the locket but this is not at all obvious. The chain’s clasp is in secure working order.
