This unusual and good size vintage shell cameo has been hand carved from conch shell. The cameo depicts a lady with windswept hair and is naturally undulating in form. The reverse bears the carver's signature. The cameo is ready for mounting as a pendant or brooch.

This cameo is in very good condition with no chips or damage and showing just the lightest signs of age. The reverse of the cameo is hard to photograph: the photo shows some dark areas but these are just shadow (not discolouration or damage) as the cameo is gently domed.
