This vintage Italian cornicello pendant is made of hallmarked 9ct yellow gold. The cornicello is made in the shape of a chilli pepper and is Italian in origin, it is a lucky charm / talisman and is thought to ward off evil and bring good luck.
The pendant measures 2.8cms length (including the bale but excluding the top suspension ring) and it weighs 0.5g (it’s hollow).
The bale is stamped '375 ITALY' (for 9ct gold and showing that Italy is the country of manufacture).
