Vintage Lapis Lazuli Charm With 9ct Gold Fitting
This unusual vintage charm is made of natural lapis lazuli. The lapis is a chequerboard cut, making it look multi facetted. The charm is fitted with a 9ct yellow gold suspension ring; the lapis frame and integral bale are gold plated.
The charm has a diameter of 11mm (excluding the fittings) and it weighs 1.1g
As is often the case with jewellery of this age and type there are no hallmarks, but the charm has been professionally tested and has a gold plated frame / bale and a 9ct gold suspension ring.
This vintage charm is in good condition showing just light signs of age / general wear. There is a very small slither chip at the very edge on one side (not significant). The suspension ring has not been soldered closed.
