Vintage Silver Gilt and Enamel Heart Pendant
This beautiful and decorative vintage pendant dates from the 1950s and is probably Scandinavian in origin. The pendant is made of solid silver, with a very lightly gilded finish. The front is guilloche enamelled in dark red, with applied green, white and gold detail and a central red paste stone. The top suspension ring is 9ct yellow gold.
The pendant measures 2.3cms height (including the suspension bale but excluding the top ring) and it weighs 3.2g
There are no visible hallmarks (although there were possibly originally some on the bale). The pendant tests as solid silver with a gilded finish. The top suspension ring tests as 9ct gold.
This pendant is around 70 years old and shows light signs of age and general wear. There are no chips to the enamel but there are a couple of scratches and there is some loss to the gold scrolling detail. The bale shows signs of a historic repair. This pendant is priced to reflect the condition.
