Vintage Silver Gilt and Enamel Moses Basket Charm / Pendant
This sweet and collectable vintage Moses basket charm is made of hallmarked solid silver, with a lightly gilded finish. The top is colourfully enamelled and depicts a rider on horseback, the base has a realistic basketweave pattern around it. The top opens easily and closes securely with the little catch on the side.
The top of the basket measures 2cms x 1.3cms (excluding the top bale and ring) and the charm weighs 3.4g
The inside of the charm is stamped ‘800’ which is a continental grade of silver. The suspension ring is original and bears a maker’s stamp.
This vintage charm is in good condition for its age, with no damage and showing just light signs of age / general wear. The enamelling is in very good condition showing just very light signs of age / wear. The gilding is lightly worn on the outside; the interior is a brighter golden finish. The basket is empty inside. The catch is secure. The top suspension ring has not been soldered closed.
