This vintage brooch is made of hallmarked Sterling silver. The brooch features a central Essex crystal style circular cabochon which has a mother of pearl back and a reverse hand painted horse’s head under a domed glass top. Either side of the central cabochon the brooch features a silver stirrup design.
The brooch measures 3.7cms length and it weighs 3.2g
The reverse of the brooch is stamped ‘STERLING’ (for Sterling silver), along with a maker’s mark
This vintage brooch is in very good condition for its age, with no damage and showing just light signs of age / general wear. The clasp / pin are in secure working order.
