Stunning, Substantial, Vintage (1984) 9ct Gold, Turquoise, Diamond and Pearl Necklace

This absolutely stunning, showstopper, pearl necklace is centrally set with a substantial, undulating, hallmarked, 9ct gold bow which features seventeen well matched, cabochon cut, turquoise. An engraved 9ct gold heart is suspended from the bow and is centred with a genuine ‘eight cut’ diamond. The pearls are well matched, cultured, freshwater pearls and the necklace is set with a hallmarked 9ct yellow gold clasp.
The necklace measures 18.25” in length and it weighs 31.4g
The 9ct gold bow has a width of 4.5cms.
The reverse of the bow is stamped with a crown and ‘375’ for 9ct gold, along with hallmarks showing that it was made in London in 1984. There is a maker’s mark of ‘IDB’. The clasp is stamped ‘375’ for 9ct gold and also bears a maker’s mark of ‘JKa’
This vintage necklace is 41 years old and is in lovely condition for its age, showing just the lightest signs of age / general wear. The turquoise and pearls are all in lovely condition and well matched. The turquoise all have a lovely, glossy, surface finish and the pearls are lustrous. The gold bow and clasp are in great condition. On very close inspection it can be seen that there are a couple of tiny, fleabite sized, edge nicks to the diamond. The clasp is in secure working order.
