Substantial Vintage 9ct Gold Mounted Spinach Jade Pendant
This striking and substantial vintage pendant is made of carved spinach jade. The pendant bears the same carving detail on each side, which I believe is of of gourds. The pendant is set with a hallmarked 9ct yellow gold bale. Both sides of the pendant are shown in the photos.
The pendant has a height of 4.9cms (including the integral bale but excluding the top suspension ring) and it weighs 12.8g
The pendant’s bale is stamped ‘9K’ and ‘375’ for 9ct gold.
This vintage pendant is in good condition for its age, with no chips or damage and showing just light signs of age / general wear. The jade has natural colour variation including dark ‘lines’ and patterns as well as some inclusions within the stone, but these are not surface reaching.
